WHAT is a REALTOR®?
There are approximately 3 million licensed real estate professionals in the United States, but only members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) can call themselves REALTORS®.
More than 1.4 million real estate professionals have taken the additional step to join NAR, The Voice for Real Estate. When choosing a real estate professional, look for the registered mark, REALTOR®.
Unlike real estate practitioners who are simply licensed by their state to do business, REALTORS® are members of NAR and subscribe to the association's strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

The Hamptons and North Fork REALTORS® Association exists to uphold the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, to champion Board of Choice and MLS of Choice for real estate professionals across the five East End towns and throughout New York State, and to provide our members with state-of-the-art programs, tools, and services that are more accessible and affordable collectively than individually.

The only way a non-REALTOR® has access to the data in RPR is through an RPR report that has been created, branded and sent by a REALTOR®. No Cost Member Benefit Included in yearly NAR dues, RPR does not cost REALTORS® any extra money. Period. The REALTORS Political Action Committee is working for you.
The REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) works for REALTORS in city hall, Albany and Washington, D.C. Your contributions to RPAC support federal, state and local lawmakers who share the REALTOR commitment to promote homeownership and private property rights.
RPAC is administered by an autonomous group of REALTOR trustees representing all regions of New York. Decisions on contributions to candidates are based on an individual's voting record, not party affiliations. It is a candidate's demonstration of support for REALTOR issues that leads to an RPAC contribution.
The National Association of REALTORS® empowers REALTORS
The National Association of REALTORS® is America's largest trade association, representing 1.4 million members, including NAR's institutes, societies, and councils, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
