Affiliate Dues
Beginning in January 2008, HANFRA launched a new service – allowing members to pay their dues on line using a major credit card by logging on to www.realtor.org or you may download the application from this page, complete it, fax it to the office, and I will complete the process for you.
Instructions for Paying Online
The process is simple. First you have to go to the www.realtor.org web site. If you have never registered before, you will have to create a user name and password. You will be asked a series of simple questions, to provide your NRDS number, the last four digits of your Social Security number, and a password question.
Once you have completed this one-time registration process. wait two minutes, go back to the home page and in the middle of the page on the bottom, click on “PAY DUES”. Follow the prompts to your individual invoice and enter your credit card information on a secured site. That’s all there it to it!
Keep your username and password in a safe location, you will need it whenever you wish to pay your dues or access “members only” information from this web site. Your payment is made through a registered secure site, and is actually more secure than sending a check through the mail.
If you pay on-line, you will still need to give your completed application, to your designated broker. Write “PAID on LINE” over the top. Your designated broker is responsible for returning your application to HANFRA as a group. Individual invoices and applications will be returned.
- First, if your invoice is for the entire current year, you are required to pay the full amount by January 31st without incurring a late fee. After this date, a $20 per month late fee will be charged. If you join during the year, you will pay a prorata amount based on the month you submit your APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP (click on previous green link to download application) to the Board.

Second, select the month you are submitting your application, scroll down to the last figure entitled "TOTAL" and that is the amount you will submit with your application. Give your completed application to your designated Realtor® or office manager for signature and submission to HANFRA. - Instructions for Paying by Check- new members
Follow the above procedures regarding determining the amount owed, and send completed APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP (click on previous green link to download application) and your check to your designated broker who will verify the information on your application, sign it, and return it to HANFRA for processing. What type of membership will I select?
Most of you will select (PRIMARY) REALTOR® ASSOCIATE. Only owners, principals, officers of the corporation or selected office personnel and associates are considered as REALTORS®. They have voting privileges. REALTORS® ASSOCIATES do not. If you have a question about type of membership, call the office at 631-734-8310 before submitting your application.
Who is a "secondary member"?
A secondary member is someone who chooses under the "Board of Choice" concept to belong to another board in addition to HANFRA. In that case, he/she will pay only the local dues portion to HANFRA. State and National dues will be remitted through their primary board. A secondary member to HANFRA can not use the payment on line feature.
